The professional tax slab structure followed in Tamil Nadu on a half yearly basis is formulated as follows:

It says clearly that it is state subject and that it also gives some useful inputs of different states profession tax slab.

Dear All,

I'm working at a corporate office at chennai and i'm getting the salary of 18,000/Month. In my office they have detected 1024 rupees as proffesional tax. Is that amount was refundable or not. Is there any proffesional tax applicable for me. Please let me know ASAP.

We have 15 to 20 employees in Chennai Office. Salary will be deposited from Mumbai Office.
