i want to know correct salary format. and tds slab rate on salary.

Hi Monika,

Salary slab is as under :-
For Men - Upto Rs.1.60 Lacs NIL
1.60 lacs to 3 Lacs 10%
3 Lacs to 5 Lacs 20%
5 Lacs & above 30%
For Women Upto Rs.1.90 lacs NIL (above that rate is same as above)
For Senior Citizen Rs.2.40 lacs NIL (above that rate is same as above)

Also I have attached herewith correct Salary details & salary slip format in Vlookup.

dear simran,
no deduction for women if the salary is less than Rs.190000.00.the slabs are as follows
New Income Tax Slabs/Rates for Resident Women (below the age of 65 years) (FY 2010-11):
Up to Rs 1,90,000-----------------> No tax / exempt
1,90,001 to 5,00,000-------------> 10%
5,00,001 to 8,00,00--------------> 20%
Above 8,00,000------------------> 30%
