| TDS on freight Hi All,
We are dealing in transportation.My query is :
Previously there was a provision of form no.15I for truck owners having less than 2 trucks for non deduction of TDS from businessman.So after submitting Form no. 15I and xerox copy of Reg.book of truck the TDS was not being deducted by the businessman.
Now with new provision in Finance bill 2009, every truck owner having PAN card is exempted from TDS being deducted and failing to produce PAN card he has pay 2% TDS.Which is likely to increase by 20%.
I wish to know that still the facility of producing form no. 15 I is in existence or not OR it has been scrapped off in new finance bill.? |
