as far as i am concerned you should know the basic things about the financial management about capital structure, capital budgeting, leverage and income statement preparation.....then you should equip your knowledge by reading some financial magazines .........wat are all the recent things are coming the fiancial market you should know.....

You must also be aware of accounting standards, must have good knowledge in financial accounting, forex markets and the terms involved in forex trade, accounting ratios and when to calculate those ratios, its use and all.
