Hi friends, I have been given the responsibility of preparing cash flow statement.Kindly, suggest me if it is enough if i generate it in Tally or prepare a separate statement. Immediate reply is appreciated.

Hi Tejaswini,
It is more advisable to prepare cashflow in Excel format if you don't have ERP packages like SAP / Oracle. Please try to avoid generating cash flow statement in Tally due to following reasons.
1). Tally cash flow is not accurate if the classification of accounts (consisting debit and credit balances) are not doen properly .
So it is more ideal to have Excel based and formula linked cash flow statement.

hi venkata narayana so the tally statement will not be efficient then y dont you give us an excel sheet with formulas awaiting for your positive reply srinivas
