mystsmCash flow statement is a MIS which explains your cash inflow and cash out flow.
Take your cash book and bank books. List out all (debits) receipts and classify them into Debtors collects, miscellaneous income (bank interest of FD/sale of scrap etc) and other income if any. This takes care of your cash inflow.
Next classify all the credits in Bank/cash books. You could classify them into Direct Expenses and Indirect Expenses. Further, you could give detailed break up under Direct Expenses (like wages paid, electricity and water, factory rent ect) and under Indirect Expenses (like Stationery expenses etc).
In short, the cash flow statement is noting but a statement showning the major receipts head and expenditure head.
