How to build a resilient organisation?

What you mean when you say How to Build resilient organisation?

To me organisation that is proactive and that has management whose mindset in the year 2007 is resilient. Most of the time we come across with companies whose management lingers in pre-liberalisation era.

With the mindset that throws challenges of 2007, the management would concentrate on:

a) Innovative Thinking

b) Market oriented

c) Quality conscious

d) Employee oriented

When I give HR consulting to small companies, first and foremost, I tell them that I will go by my 3-layered checklist. The list is as below;

a) Level I - Functions of the Personnel Department

b) Level II: Functions of HR Department

c) Level III: Advance Functions of HR Department

For me this step by step approach was found to be quite effective. I have taken care of current market scenario vis-a-vis the changes that organisation needs to have.
