MIS Report is not a specific report. It has to be generated as per the requisition of Managment. almost all departments in all industries use MIS report. The format and contents in report depend up on the Department of the industry, situation, problem araised etc.
MIS report stands for Managament information system as the name indicate,An MIS report is a tool that managers use to evaluate business processes and operations. for example ABC Company last 3 years turnover was 10Cr continually, but the current year turnover was only 7cr, In this case managment require details of the last 3 years sales, mazor contributed customers, reason for Low turnover, prodcution capacity, quality of products etc details. depend on this information provided by the head of Department Managment will evaluate the information and take a necessary action. this is called MIS (managment Information system) mostly depend upon the situation and problem.
