I have worked as an accountant In a automobile company and we had a very systematic payroll system. We provide a flat rate salary for new employee for first 6 month and then if porformance found setisfied then promote him/her as a permanent employee and break salary in basic and other allowances. All salary structure and other facilities and allowances are fixed as per their level or position and once the position is finalized all compensations are calculated in a standard form in excel sheet. All I have to do is count the attendance and provide the position. TDS will be deducted from his gross receivable.Then amount will be deposited in his bank account directly. We provide 12 month salary+ Dashain bonus of basic salary + 1 month salary as leave facility in total for the year. We deduct 10 % of his basic salary as Staff provident fund and deposit in bank by doubling this amount.
