Generally we enter agreements for works at the start of financial year. It is becoming problem every year when the minimum wages are increasing in the midst of the year. the contractors are posing difficulty in paying increased salaries to contract workman. we have to short close the agreements, and re-enter new ones. is there any amicable solution as this happens regularly

While entering into contract you can add one more clause of adding the differential amount of wages revision to be paid as and when there is a revision made by the appropriate government, so that the principal employer is bound to pay the minimum wages with profit to the contractor.
