Hi everyone i'm Sushil,
I want to know the career prospects in ACCA. is it par to CA qualification, it is a realiable thing to do. If we do how can we find out that place we are doing is certified institution or not?
Does i get good remunaration after doing ACCA .
Please guide me with full information or provide me with link where i can find the information.

Hi Sushil !

First of all please be aware what this ACCA is about. ACCA is to UK what CA is to India. Secondly, you would gain wider acceptance as the stamping of ACCA is recognised in more countries.

At par with Indian CA: Question is absurd as after having ACCA degree you can't practise in India without applying for certain exams and gaining ICAI's recognition. Its like an attorney studying Indian laws can't practise in US court unless he gets specific approval. However it is more widely accepted and endorsed overseas.

Reliability: Its better in terms of IFRS i.e. accounting thing as IFRS are more close to UK GAAP than Indian GAAP. But once again only English companies or the one requiring experts of UK GAAP/IFRS majorly look out for ACCA which is very small part of companies operating in India.

Institute: There's no particular institute through which it is done.It is imparted through a centralised body like ICAI in India. Rets others will merely prepare you for it and through their tie-ups conduct exams in India but its not official imparting of education. You can check out their official site for more details.

Remuneration: Its quite subjective in nature. But given the kind of efforts required for cracking ICAI, sincere advice to all: Look for something else unless you are that passionate...
